James Marshall Butz

James Marshall Butz was a member of Highland Boulevard Church of Christ in San Antonio. He completed a Master's Degree at St. Mary's University. His Thesis was entitled, A Brief history of the Church of Christ in San Antonio, Texas, 1876-1951.
His work has been foundational and invaluable in collecting information on the history of churches of Christ in San Antonio.
James M. Butz graduated from ACU in 1945 with a B.A. in History. He transferred from San Antonio Junior College; Mission Study; Young People's Meeting; Forum; Alpha Tau Lambda; Gavel Club; Intramural Debate (From the Prickly Pear, Yearbook of Abilene Christian College, 1945)
