BANDINA -- The New Braunfels Church of Christ young people returned recently from their time at Camp Bandina from June 19-25.  The 66 students and 17 adults from NBCOC joined the 250 or so other campers from across the region who attended the session hosted by the Kings Crossing church in Corpus Christi.

The theme for the week comes from Mark 12:30-31: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.”

Each day included a two-hour classes for the different age groups, swimming in the river, canoeing, sports, crafts, lots of singing, an evening session, hayride, and starlight devotional.  Pepperdine University's "Won by One," an a cappella singing group, entertained one night.

Campers joining the Kings Crossing young people for this session came from Victoria, Madisonville, College Station and the Saturn Road Church of Christ of Dallas.

Alfredo Leyva and MaDel Alcala of NBCOC were baptized during the session.  Congratulations also went to Justin Proctor of NBCOC who won the "Best Camper" award in the male division.
