Ridgeway brings laughs, preaches to youth
NEW BRAUNFELS -- The New Braunfels Church of Christ hosted the area youth praise earlier this summer and brought in comedian, Hoss Ridgeway, to keynote the evening. Ridgeway's unique comic approach to sharing the gospel challenged teens from around the San Antonio area.
Many teens found themselves laughing to the point of shedding tears as Ridgeway shared his stories then pointed them to the Gospel. His heart is with ministering to teens.
Says Ridgeway on youth ministry, "It's the deep relationships developed that become lifelong -- watching the teens grow up, graduate, get married -- seeing them ushered into a deep relationship with God - that makes it all worthwhile."
He has been busy with youth activities all summer. He has been helping the teens at the Lake Jackson Church of Christ develop servants' hearts for mission and ministry.
Ridgeway attended OVU, Faulkner and Harding and currently serves Lake Jackson as the youth minister. He is married to Brenda and they have one daughter in elementary school.
